Ps3 information board not updating
It seems that there might be a way to stop these issues from happening, by disabling that brand new news ticker added with the update.
In case you don't know how to disable the feature, just press the triangle button when "Information Board" is selected in the XMB and then select the "Disable" option.
Still, for 0 this should have been perfect right out of the box. On a side note, how do they come out with the update #'s? So most PS2 games are in 480i that the new FW is altering the image output slightly.
I am hooked up HDMI on the PS3 and component on the PS2. So I've been reading the PS3 boards at boardsus.playstation.com, and it sounds like that in BC mode the PS3 is possibly outputting in 480p when playing BC games.
